There is currently no cure for Lipedema, but there are options that can reduce symptoms and relieve pain to some extent.
It is mainly based on:
- Anti-inflammatory food: eliminating processed foods, sugars, salt and inflammatory foods (gluten, dairy…)
- Physical exercise: Slows down the process and relieves symptoms. Low impact sports such as walking, water exercises, cycling, nordic walking, yoga, pilates are recommended…)
– Decongestant therapy : orthopedic compression stockings, bandage, manual lymphatic drainage.
